Terraceous Grunt

“They say Chuthar blessed this land and created the terraceous golems to protect it.”

The rogue glanced at his companion. The duo crouched low in the brush. “You don't really believe that nonsense, do you?” he asked.

“I heard a hulk killed an entire patrol of Chaos Legionnaires. Crushed them with its fists and stomped them into jelly.”

The rogue snorted. “The only thing in these woods is critters more scared of you than you are of them.”

A branch snapped in the canopy overhead, and a soft rain of leaves fluttered to the ground.

“Just a bird,” the rogue said.

“Too big to be a bird,” his companion said.

A shadow of movement, and something leapt from the treetops. It landed before them with a heavy thud that shook the ground. It was a golem formed of stone, vines, and wood.

“Chuthar's mercy!” the rogue's companion cried.

The terraceous grunt fell upon them in a flurry of stone fists. Terraceous grunts are magical creations born of stone and earth. They often serve magic users, their allies, or those with the coin to afford their service. Grunts are highly resistant to attacks. They are also skilled in the martial arts, using their massive, stone fists as weapons.
