Solace Ashinach

Ashinach are the foot soldiers that form the bulk of the Gloridax Empire's Dragonsguard. But the Gloridax Empire has fallen, and in the port city of Solace, the ashinach now serve as conscripts in the legions of Chaos.

But there is trouble brewing in Solace. Dissent grows among both its Gloridax conscripts and citizenry. Acts of insubordination have become more frequent, no matter how many lashings are doled out. The kalament of Tovingor, charged with governance in the Central Fire, knows that something must be done before it boils over into a full-blown revolt.

But it seems like there is trouble brewing everywhere, and trying to squash it all is like playing subjugation whack-a-mole.
