Junker

The junker made his way through the ruins of the city. Great slabs of stone cast long shadows, and the smell of smoke filled the air. He rubbed his nose and surveyed the ground. There was always something valuable if one knew where to look.

He crouched and, wearing his heavy gloves, sifted through piles of rubble. One item caught his eye: the broken blade of a sword.

“This will certainly come in handy,” he said.

Carefully wrapping the blade in a threadbare cloth, he jammed it in his oversized pack and carried on. As the Riftwatchers travel between realms laid to ruin by the Chaos Legion, there are many scraps left behind. That is where the junkers step in. They go through what's left and take anything their allies can repurpose. These collectors often specialize in crafting, mechanics, and repair for the Riftwatchers.
