In the Frigid Coasts where Hrolfa was born, strength is survival. The whitehair minotaurs who dwell there are warriors first, charging through snow and ice, horns lowered, relying on muscle and horn to overcome any obstacle.

Hrolfa was different.

She was smaller than her kin. Lighter. Faster. When the elders tested the young, when they were expected to prove their strength through direct confrontation, Hrolfa circled instead. Observed. Found better angles.

They called it weakness.

The Order of the Silver Shield saw otherwise. When they established their frontier garrison near the Frigid Coasts, they recognized what her kin had missed. Their scouts—pale orcs, crystal goblins, Khymerian rangers—were vulnerable alone in hostile territory. They needed someone who could protect them without compromising their stealth.

So the Silver Shield recruited Hrolfa and made her a knight.

She took to the bow, positioning herself behind the scout lines. When enemies approach, her arrows find throats before alarms can be raised. When stealth fails and enemies close in, she doesn't charge; she shifts and dodges, buying time for her scouts to reposition. Between operations, she maintains their equipment, her hands as steady with tools as with her bow.

In the Pristine Northwest, Hrolfa walks behind her scouts, bow ready, eyes on the horizon. She doesn't lead the charge. She guards those who do the work no one else can.
