Halo Wisp

Halo wisps are small, elusive life elementals that drift through the upper planes, their forms aglow with a soft golden shimmer. They appear most often in liminal spaces: where light meets shadow, on the cusp of dusk, at the edge of dreams.

Despite their delicate appearance, halo wisps strike with surprising force. Their bodies are clad in hardened plates of condensed life mana. When conjured and controlled by skilled magic users, they attack from a distance, launching themselves or pieces of their shell like radiant projectiles.

Few recognize the danger until too late. A flicker at the edge of vision, a shimmer in the air, and then impact, armor-first.
