Frostguard Warrior

Frostguard warriors are the elite marine gnome fighters of Pimniq, a tribal autocracy located in the frozen tundra of the Northeast Machair. Compact and heavyset, they form the backbone of Pimniq’s military and are respected for their discipline and resilience.

Many develop their throwing skills early while fishing the icy coasts, where striking a sailfish from the deck of a dogger boat is a formative rite of passage. This early training sharpens the strength and precision later honed through relentless drills and the unforgiving standards of Pimniq’s military. Those who rise to join the Frostguard earn more than a place in its ranks. They carry the legacy of a people hardened by cold, conflict, and command.

Their martial abilities are further bolstered by shamans’ talismans and alchemists’ concoctions, granting them bursts of speed, strength, or clarity when most needed. It’s said that if you find yourself at war with Pimniq, bring a big shield. And hope it’s enough.
