Earthwork Sentinel

Earthwork sentinels are elementals of roots, stone, and soil. They raise barriers that shield allies and shift terrain to slow enemy advances. Roots erupt to tangle feet, soil softens to bog down charges, and the ground refuses to cooperate with hostile movement.

Their touch brings earth's endurance, closing wounds and stopping bleeding that would otherwise be fatal. They sense every footfall and every vibration, and the earth remembers where enemies step. Spies, scouts, and assassins find it nearly impossible to remain hidden. The sentinel reveals them all.

On the battlefield, they position behind defensive lines, fortifying what others fight to hold. When dismissed or defeated, they sink back into the ground, but as long as the sentinel stands, the line will hold.
